You may be wondering why we haven’t posted for a little while. Well the answer is simple. We’re playing the waiting waiting waiting game. The things we’re waiting for are (in order):
- Land to title (about 3 weeks)
- Final mortgage documents to sign (the bank won’t issue them till the land titles)
- Settle on the land (mortgage payments start!!!)
- Get start date
- Start building!
With a bit of luck all will happen quickly, especially the land settlement! We may have to put a rocket up BankWest for that…
Oh, and we’re STILL waiting for PD to get back to us with our contract variations. Its been 5 1/2 weeks since we signed the construction contract. Seriously, does it really take that long??? grrrrrr!!!!!
Ahhh, the waiting game… I know it all too well
Don’t worry, it all feels painfully slow when your waiting for a start. But when it finally DOES start, things start moving along nicely! Can’t wait to see the progress…
