So what is this just all about? There’s been Project Runway… and Project Greelight… but what is Project Regent? It’s nothing to do with fashion or getting a foot into the cinema industry, but rather a construction project. Wait, better than just any construction project, but the construction of our new home.
Yeah, that’s right, we’re building a new home at Point Cook, which is located about 30 minutes West of the Melbourne CBD, in the Innisfail Estate. Our home, the Regent 23, will be constructed by Porter Davis over the coming months, with a hopeful move-in date of February 2010.
So why are we writing about it? Well, we’ve got friends and family all over Australia as well as across the globe, and, well, Web 2.0 is the “now” thing, right? It’s a way for us to share our journey, the progress and the product of the next few months, and enable everyone to stay up to date (and this way we can’t get blamed for missing someone on a bulk mailout, because let’s face it, with RSS feeds you don’t need them). On that note, if you want to stay in the loop, we’ve got an RSS feed set up for you to subscribe to - you see that curvy icon in the top right corner… no, no, top right… your other right… yes, that’s it - add that to your favourite RSS reader to stay up to date with new posts as we go.
